Common Questions about Groups
Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some choose to meet every week, bi-weekly, or monthly. That information will be part of each group description on the online search tool.
Not all groups offer childcare, but there are options available. Be sure to specify childcare available in the online group search if you need a group with childcare. Some groups will have participants share responsibility in watching the children, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements.
You’ve probably seen small group meeting and not even realized it. A small group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a small group is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with.
Groups meet in homes, restaurants, and coffee shops all over the area. We will help you find a small group near you based on where you live.
That all depends on the group. Many groups discuss the weekly message but others choose a topic or book of their own to study. That will be part of the group description.
Sorry, no take-backs. Just kidding! We want you to feel comfortable and connect with your group. If you’re just not “feeling it” with your current group, feel free to reach out to another group and begin attending there. It would be nice if you let your current group leader know you’re going to a different group – don’t worry, they won’t try to bribe you to stay or take you for a ride on guilt highway.
